I’m running for Attorney General because Connecticut deserves an Attorney General whose first priority is the people of this state. While the current office has devoted significant time and resources to national lawsuits and issues originating outside Connecticut, I’ll focus on the challenges that affect our families every day—affordability, consumer protection, public safety, and accountability in state government.
As a Connecticut attorney and former Westport Planning & Zoning Commissioner, I’ve built my career on upholding the law, solving problems, and serving the public with integrity. Growing up as the son of a longtime auditor with the Connecticut State Auditors of Public Accounts, I learned early that transparency, accountability, and honest government aren’t just ideals—they’re responsibilities. Those values have guided my career and will guide every decision I make as Attorney General.
I believe the Attorney General should be visible, accessible, and accountable to the people—not just the political establishment. I’ll work alongside local communities, law enforcement, consumer advocates, and businesses to solve problems before they become crises, enforce our laws fairly and consistently, and restore public confidence that the Attorney General’s office is working for every resident of Connecticut.

As your next Attorney General, I will use every legal tool available to protect Connecticut families, defend our state’s interests, and restore confidence that the Attorney General is working for the people—not politics.

Fight for Affordable Energy
Connecticut families deserve relief from some of the highest utility costs in the nation. As your next Attorney General, I will fight to lower energy costs by making utility rate cases before the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) a top priority, ensuring PURA fulfills its legal mission to protect consumers, and standing up for Connecticut ratepayers every step of the way.
I will:
- Challenge policies that unfairly drive up utility costs.
- Make PURA rate cases a top priority and aggressively advocate for ratepayers.
- Oppose unreasonable rate increases and hold utilities accountable.
- Ensure PURA carries out its mission fairly and according to the law.
- Confront neighboring states that unlawfully restrict Connecticut’s access to affordable energy, including opening discussions with New York.
- Put Connecticut families—not politics—at the center of every energy decision.
Holding Neighboring States Accountable
Connecticut should never bear the financial or environmental consequences of decisions made by neighboring states. As your next Attorney General, I will defend Connecticut’s interests whenever outside actions harm our residents, businesses, or natural resources.
I will:
- Hold neighboring states accountable when pollution harms Connecticut’s rivers, drinking water, or Long Island Sound.
- Pursue legal action when interstate policies unfairly burden Connecticut taxpayers or businesses.
- Defend Connecticut’s environmental and economic interests through aggressive legal advocacy.
- Work with federal agencies to enforce laws that protect Connecticut communities.
- Ensure Connecticut always has a strong legal voice when our state’s interests are threatened.
Protect Connecticut Consumers
The Attorney General’s Office should be the first line of defense for consumers. I will aggressively enforce Connecticut’s consumer protection laws to ensure families are treated fairly in an increasingly complex economy.
I will:
- Investigate AI-driven pricing practices that unfairly target Connecticut consumers.
- Crack down on deceptive business practices and consumer fraud.
- Protect seniors from financial exploitation and scams.
- Fight price gouging and unfair market practices. Hold corporations accountable when they violate Connecticut law.
